Fully automated flushing unit gives full control over the flushing process
The main challenge in the development of this flush unit was the amount of steps to go through in a short time frame:
This starts with the handling of the packaging, followed by the flushing itself and no less important: the control of the various process parameters during the flushing process and of the end result.
For example, it is important for the quality and speed of the flushing process that sufficient flow is available. Especially when double flushing.
Formerly known as Lightweight Containers, OneCircle is a family-owned company that designs, develops and manufactures sustainable packaging for beverages and liquids.
KeyKeg & UniKeg are products from OneCircle. The circular design of the KeyKeg makes it the most revolutionary form of packaging in the field of sustainability.
Extension production line
Total Productivity has expanded the production line for Keykeg with a fully automated sink unit. This is an extension of our previous delivery of a complete production line.
Flushing in itself is not a new process, but fully automated flushing is.
The main challenge in the development of the flush unit was the number of steps that must be completed in a short period of time:
This starts with the handling of the packaging, then the flushing itself and no less important: the control of the various process parameters during the flushing process and of the end result. For example, it is important for the quality and speed of the flushing process that sufficient flow is available. Especially when it is necessary to rinse twice.
This flushing unit uses a valve terminal of which the function of each individual valve is determined by means of a user-friendly app. This means that you can realize a multitude of functions with the same hardware component without having to use separate components for this. The subsequent process steps are therefore fully automated.
Digitized pneumatics also offers benefits to the end user
This digitized pneumatics from Festo also offers important benefits for the end user. For example, he can also operate his unit manually via the valve terminal and perform various tests on it step by step. This is important, among other things, when changing the rinsing heads to flush a different package. Technicians can then immediately test for functionality and leak-tightness.
